• Read your instructions that come with your tree stand and save them to re-read each season before use.
   
• Each season, before use, inspect your tree stand and full-body harness for excessive wear
   
• Always wear a full-body safety harness that is TMA certified - while ascending, hunting, and descending from your tree stand
   
• Do not alter your tree stand
   
• Never loan your tree stand to or allow anyone else to use your tree stand unless they read the instructions and agree to use a TMA certified full body harness at all times
   
• Always practice using your tree stand at ground level, as you become more comfortable, gradually move to a higher hunting height
   
• Never exceed the manufacturers weight limit of the tree stand or safety harness
   
• Never leave your tree stand outside for long periods of time
   
• Always set-up and use your tree stand with other hunting friends present, you should never set-up your tree stand alone, if you are hunting alone be sure to carry a two-way radio or a cell phone with service on you at all times
